Concert Series

Indigenous Solutions' / IndigenousWays' vision is to create awareness and global support for indigenous communities, including LGBTQIA2+ by utilizing music, the arts, and indigenous wisdom as well as supporting and building strong sustainable communities.

The Indigenous Solutions/IndigenousWays Concert Series is in its fourth successful season. The Series enables us to provide unique support for local, national and international Indigenous & LGBTQIA artists. Each event in the Series supports an artist willing to travel. We provide funding and create a safe community space where audiences can gather, eat, laugh, sing and celebrate while being inspired by a guest artist. The Series has created a thriving community which grows with each new artist’s appearance.

ASL Interpreting Services

We bring our message to our Deaf and Hard of Hearing audiences, and to those who enjoy the grace and beauty of American Sign Language interpreting at our performances.

Music and Arts Education  Program

Music and arts education help carry all cultures and benefit all societies.

Indigenous Solutions/IndigenousWays facilitates art and music educational programs in remote Native American schools and communities. We partner with local teachers who are desperate for such support. Our most recent project in Pinon, Arizona, brought together two hundred community members to draw on small canvas tiles and create a community mural describing their history and culture. We also brought Pinon a special art, music and film (digital story telling) program for middle school students. Our workshops fill an educational vacuum with a thrilling experience of art and music.

Indigenous Solutions Festivals

2018 Indigenous Solutions Festival

Indigenous Solutions/IndigenousWays in partnership with the Navajo Nation hosted their inaugural festival which supported local indigenous artists, musicians and businesses in Chinle, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation, on August, 11th 2018. Indigenous Solutions, Inc, looks forward to showcasing both emerging and professional artists to come together with the community to engage and initiate intergenerational conversations and acknowledge our past so we can move towards a more whole and inclusive future.

Healing Festivals

Indigenous Solutions'/IndigenousWays' vision is to create awareness and global support for indigenous communities, including LGBTQIA2+ by utilizing music, the arts, and indigenous wisdom as well as supporting and building strong sustainable communities.

BeautyWay Music & Arts  Festival
We partnered with the student body and faculty at Dine College in Tsaile, Arizona to put on the BeautyWay Music and Arts Festival on September 14th 2019. The theme was "Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention".

Indigenous Healing Festival

We partnered with the Institute of American Indian Arts to have the 2nd Indigenous Healing Festival on April 13th, 2019 bringing in many healing practitioners and indigenous wisdom keepers.

Aged Care Music Program

One of the most distinctive of Indigenous Solutions’ programs is our “Aged Care Facility” outreach. We bring music into remote Native American aged care facilities where we greet our elderly and thank their caregivers.

When we sing our traditional songs within hearing of the residents, most of whom are Navajo, faded eyes light up and broad smiles crease well-tanned faces. Sacred hands may clap an ancient rhythm. Our music reminds our elders that they are the most sacred members of our communities, living legends who carry the oral history of our people.

Music in Detention Centers and Penitentiaries Program

With the help of local advocates, we regularly perform in local, regional, national and even international Detention Centers, jails and penitentiaries. In the grey cold of such institutions, we are able to bring the warmth and joy of indigenous music, encouraging those without hope to have courage. On occasion, we’ve taken other musicians into these institutions as well!
